They need to stop writing/centering their universe on like three actors.

They've been saying it's the end of a trilogy. Lets hope it is. Time to focus on the iconic 90's team. I'm sure if they do it right they'll make the same amout of $$$ as the MCU.

I saw the movie yesterday and it was underwhelming.
I read comments before saying that it's boring and I couldn't believe how that could be, it's an X-Men movie... But they were right. I think they simply spent too much time setting up all these new characters but then they only did actual things for like 20 minutes and then the movie was over.

Apocalypse should have put up a better fight too, he is supposed to be way more powerful than that.

Overall it's not a bad movie but the last one was so much better.

yes thank goodness. he was better than Brett Ratner, but its time for Brian to go and please, NEVER come back. You've had your fingers in this series for FAR too long.

Matthew Vaughn should be the next main director. His vision for First Class was SO clear & focused, and tbh Singer just came in and crapped all over everything, even tho DOFP was cute for what it was.

I liked a few moments of DOFP, specially the beginning that is one the best scenes of them working as a team. But FC is a superior movie overall so for me Matthew can comeback and give us another great acclaimed movie.

bryan did co-write story of first class, and as producer he was oversight pre-production,casting,designs,visuals..
Matthew Vaughn left the x men for kingsman, I don't think he care about x men that much.

bryan not doing another x men movie soon is not a fresh news, he already said few months ago or last year.
he'll always involved in x men projects as producer or casual consultant. so deal with it.

and there're 4 movies with wolverine, gambit, deadpool, new mutants.
they're all different approach, directors. so bryan doing one of them is no big deal.

Brian delivered the Oscar worthy DOFP so I don't want him out. I do feel like he may be running out of stories to tell. A new director may inject some new creativity into the franchise by bringing the 90s team to life.

I persuaded him to watch since this movie isn't that bad and it has great moments. But he made up his mind already to skip it.
