I honestly couldnt agree more with this  but you also have to remember that katy has a much bigger fanbase and her songs are typically more radio friendly and appeal to kids too, K$ songs are meant for the teen to young adult crowd. Her label needs to either release something more friendly to the gp like Last Goodbye, or something thats a sure smash hit like supernatural, and given the time of year i say the latter of the two would do better even tho the other is my fav of all time

Cannibal debuted at #15 and ended up going gold.
It did have smashes to back it up, but with a 4th single Warrior might be able to just scrap by 500k

That fourth single would have to be a Candle In The Wind-sized smash to bring this album to the 500k mark. I believe it's currently sold just over 300k units in America, so there's still quite a long way to go before it'll be seeing any gold. 
An EP akin to Cannibal (i.e., with a repackaged double album edition also available for purchase) could probably do it, but I'd much rather see them cut their losses and move on. And learn from these mistakes.

Just curious, do any of you think that the Warrior album cover could have potentially hurt it's sales?
The color stands out, but for someone that looks as great as Ke$ha does, it's a really bad photo.

I've definitely considered it. It is a really unfortunate pic. The colour scemes are great, the font is kind of cool in a funky little way, and the outfit is pretty, but that picture of her is just so unfortunate. It may be the worst one I've ever seen of her face, really, which makes the fact that they used it for an album cover so odd.

It is very odd. Especially when she looked so beautiful during the rest of the album booklet.

It's not that it's even a BAD album cover. It's actually a rather good one, it's just her face on it... I don't know what it is... her facial position, the make-up, bad editing, bad lighting?

She really doesn't even look like herself in it. I think Ke$ha has a fantastic profile, so this angle should potentially be pretty flattering imo, but here it's just not. I wish her eyebrows were more visible, her eyes weren't so dark (different makeup and better lighting, maybe?), and that her jawline hadn't been tampered with quite so much.

But maybe she was going for androgynous Amazon princess à la Grace Jones in Conan: The Destroyer (or something) and didn't want to look too pretty? I dunno.

Yeah you're definitely right about the eyebrows, make-up and jaw line.
By her cheek it looks round, and when it gets to her chin it goes really square. She doesn't normally look like that.
At least the/you Animals, got some beautiful shots in the booklet to make up for it.
I can't at some people disliking the Bangerz cover. It's actually pretty good. Trashy, but wasn't that the look she was going for?

Yeah, the booklet was fantastic.  Did you ever see the cover for the album in Japan? It's the same image as the one that appears on Die Young's single cover. As if they weren't lucky enough with all of their bonus tracks and extra discs and whatnot!
I like the Bangerz cover too. I get a real eighties vibe from it, which is pretty much always a good thing in my book, and I think Miley looks very pretty on it.
