I had never heard Carol of the Bells before but I found it very interesting. It has kinda unique sound or chords progress or melody, I don't know how to call it. It is very different from all Xmas carols/songs I've ever heard. Looking forward to Kelly's version!

It reminds of a song from Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas tho.
