According to UKMix, '21' has sold around 10,846,000 copies in the US. This places her at #13 on the 'best-selling albums of the Soundscan era' chart. However, Celine Dion's classic 'Falling Into You' is at #12 and, a few months ago, registered sales of 10,821,000. So, depending on how much 'Falling Into You' has sold since a few months ago, it may be equal with '21's sales, or '21' might have even overtaken it, in which case it would be #12 on the list.
At #11 is Norah Jones' 'Come Away With Me', which, according to another post on UKMix, on August 24th 2013, posted sales of 10,948,000. Of course, she would have added to her total by then, so Adele only has around 120-130k (just a guess on my behalf!) to catch her up! Granted, it's not going to happen overnight, but if rumours of Adele releasing another album this year are true, it will happen a lot sooner than we think. I'm calling an 11x Platinum certification by summer.
Now wait just a minute. When I first joined ATRL I came in this base and said that I'll Be Waiting is one of the weakest 21 tracks and some of y'all (*cough* RainDreamer *cough*) were all over me telling me to repent. Well now I never said it was better than Take It All nor did I say it wasn't a weak song compared to the others. Your original comment as I remember in that little situation was that it was "filler". Meaning it was skippable. All I said was there was not a single filler track on the album not rate how good it was compared to the others.
