I love both Satellites and Matty. Satellites is outspoken and nice (if you know him), and Matty is sweet and honest.
Today has been such a terrible day for all of us ATRL members.  RT's death, the feuds, the bans, etc.

I do know Sats, and I love Sats. Love Matty too! :heart: both of them. Today will go down in ATRL history though. Who'd have thought something like this was going to happen today... and all we've been doing is waiting for results all day.

Yes! Alot of people on here hate Sats because they don't know him. But Sats has always been incredibly sweet to me and he's actually alot of fun to talk to. And same with Matty. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about either one of them. And yes! It's so weird that the one day that we all expected to be boring, uneventful, and normal on here, was the day that all hell broke loose.

My opinion on the closing of RT:

Yes, it was hard to get noticed, but it's nothing like other threads, where your posts are ignored completely (NHB, SYG, etc.). Those of you who claimed it was clique-ey, how long did you actually spend in there trying to talk to someone? Just like everything in life, it takes a little work before you begin to see rewards. True, you could go to tinychat or just use wall posts, but RT was a place where things didn't move too quickly (unlike tinychat), and you could have multiple conversations at once without having to deal with "you can only post once every 60 seconds, please wait..." (unlike wall posts).
Also, I think that though this may appear to be a music forum, if we really went by the 'strictly music' policy you would have to delete many threads and sub-forums. I think that's what makes ATRL so great, it's not just a music forum, it's a bit more. And I think that we need to embrace that because clearly if we don't we are going to lose many great posters.
True, there was shade thrown in RT, and that should have been stopped, but most of the times it was just to make a laugh,the really malicious behavior was normally in SYG or NHB. I truthfully think that RT thoughts should be re-opened with a few guidelines. Clearly everyone is quite up in arms about this, and I think if we try re-opening the thread then changes will be made, because now we understand that you will close down the thread.
That's all I have to say on this issue.
