People will criticize her no matter what. If it is country it is not country enough or what they think country is and if she tries to branch out she is selling out. If people like it great if they don't then they can stay pressed.

I really don't know how it's possible for one of the richest and most successful artists of our time to "sell out". She's just experimenting in directions we've always known She has an affinity for. I mean, this is the girl who covered "Umbrella" five years ago, "Hot N Cold" three years ago and "Lucky" little over a year ago. She loves sharp lyrics, She loves relatable themes, She loves infectious melodies. It's not exactly a stretch to think that some pop music is what She genuinely wants to create, rather than being a calculated, executive decision.
i dont see any problem with RED lyrics but yah she can do better than that.. i just miss her debut era.. lyrically and production wise i need that all to get back...
