I've got a question: Explicit WPs are 3 at a time and last 3 months, so if I were to post 4 of them I'd have 12 WPs which is obviously enough for a ban, but since those WPs last 3 months would my ban be 3 months long?

No, you'd only be banned for a month.
But you'd come back with 12 WPs so you could get perma if you're messy and reach 20 WPs I believe.
Some people delete everything off their profile before requesting a ban. I guess it's the best way to indicate that they are gone for good? Not completely sure.
