Charli XCX Performs at Summer Sonic Festival
Charli XCX has already performed at two diferent festivals last week, one in the US and another in the UK this week she's performing at Japan's biggest musci festival Summer SOnic Festival which attracts more than 500,000 people in total. Charli's show alone attracted 70,000 fans who came to listen to Charli's performance.
Charli arrived on the stage through a platform. She was preceded by a guitarist wearing a red glitter outfit and the guitar was covered in glitter who arrived playing the guitar ferociously, creating a synth-pop/80s Sky Ferreira-ish sound. The guitarist was shooting smoke. Charli was wearing a a flashy red leotard with fishnets and silver gloves. The first song on the setlist was 'I Love It' who had an extra guitar intro before it started playing and Charli screaming 'I Love It' along with the public. "Say it with me Osaka! I LOVE IT!" screamed Charli throughout the song.
Right after the song ended and crowd cheered Charli said: "So there's 70 thousand people here tonight... Thank you for coming to my show Osaka, this song is called 'Divide' it's on my new album 'Devour My Heart'!"
The up-tempo 'Divide' which is the 12th and last track on the 'Devour My Heart' tracklist made the crowd dance along with Charli who was going crazy on stage.
"Are you having a good time Japan? I love you so much! you must have Devoured My Heart!" screamed Charli into her microphone. She started singing the title track of her album 'Devour My Heart'. Charli XCX sang the mid-tempo song in front of her led microphone stand who was currently shooting red lights.
The first act ended and an interlude showing Charli dancing around to the instrumental of 'You (Ha Ha Ha)'. Charli came out wearing an outfit that she could have worn during the True Romance era. A neon crop top with pattern leggings with big black buffalo boots. She started singing 'You (Ha Ha Ha)' from her debut album. After the song was done she asked: "Choose any song from my first album 'True Romance' and I'll singing it for you! So what do you want? Scream it!" A few started screaming 'Nuclear Seasons' but most of the crowd that was shouting was asking for 'Set Me Free' as song she hadn't sang live in a long time. "'Set Me Free' it is!". The catchy intro of the song was slightly extended and Charli danced around. After 'Set Me Free' she started singing 'You're The One'.
Another interlude appeared on the screen while Charli was changing outfits. The interlude showed Charli eating candy hearts. When the interlude ended, Charli came out looking mysterious in a wet white see through top with a studded black leotard underneath it which was custom made by The Blonds. It looked like she was coming out of a pool, she was all wet. She started singing a more Pop/Rock version of her 'Devour My Heart' Track 'My Shadow'. 'My Shadow' was followed by 'Out of My Control' and 'Wasted (Taste (it)' which all had this pop/rock twist.
Right when 'Wasted (Taste It)' ended, the recognizable guitar intro of 'SuperLove' started and Charli started to sing. The crowd sang along. While the song was being sang, the music video was played on the screen in the background.
"This song is about how I felt once, I felt Alone in the Dark, but you brought me to the light ANgels" Charli said before starting to sing 'Alone in the Dark'. The single was also extended and that Brooke Candy intro from the Remix version was added o the end of the song. Charli also did a well choreographed choreography with 4 female dancers wearing similar outfits to her during the song.
"This is the last one!" she screamed before starting to sing 'Tokyo Lights' right after the end of 'Alone in the Dark'. The emotional performance was sung behind the led microphone stand which was shooting different colors for a few seconds each. "Thank you Japan!" screamed Charli into the microphone before leaving the stage.
The performance was well received by the critics and the crowd who admired Charli's talent. The performance was also talked about on TV and news outlets and videos of the performances of 'Tokyo Lights', 'SuperLove' and 'Alone in the Dark' are available on Charli's Vevo's channel.

Bonnie begins the first night of her US 'Summer Smile' tour in Washington, D.C. at Verizon Center. For opening night, the arena is completely full, and tickets are sold out.
Tove Lo opens the night with a performance of her debut single "Love Ballad", and continues of with tracks from her debut EP 'Truth Serum' - "Out Of Mind", "Not On Drugs", "Over" and "Paradise". Tove finishes her opening set with her hit single "Habits (Stay High)", thanks the crowd, and exits the stage.
Bonnie then enters the stage, and the excitement within the crowd could be heard from a mile away. Bonnie welcomes everyone and asks if everyone enjoyed Tove's performance, to which the crowd responds favourably. Bonnie then thanks everyone and explains how excited she is to be starting her first headlining tour. Bonnie mentions her EP 'Young Love', and proceeds to sing the EP's title track and latest US single, "Young Love". Bonnie then sings another track from the EP, "Look What U Got", before performing a track from her upcoming debut album, "S*L*A*Y". Bonnie explains how this was originally planned to be the second single from her upcoming album, before her change in label and signing onto Sphinx Records, which lead to the release of hit single "Smile" and the 'Young Love' EP. After her performance, Bonnie goes back to the EP with "Have To Let Go". Following this performance, Bonnie previews another track from her upcoming album titled "Forever 21", and concludes the act with EP track "Unstoppable".
After a brief intermission and outfit change, Bonnie comes back to perform B-side track "Murder" live for the very first time, a track which can only be heard on the special 'Asian Deluxe Edition' of her debut EP, 'Young Love'. Bonnie continues with the EP's opening track "Highway Heart", before playing her album's inbetwingle, "Sleepwalker". Next are some other tracks from Bonnie's upcoming album, "Right Now" and "I Wanna ****ing Call You", and finally the EP's closing track "Disaster".
After another very brief intermission and outfit change, Bonnie comes back to the stage for two final performances, one of her comeback single "American Girl", and for the grand finale, her massive smash hit single "Smile". After the final performance and all of the confetti has stopped falling from the ceiling, Bonnie thanks her fans for attending this very special night.

Ellie Goulding's new mini-series "Skeleton" debuts on CBS with high raitings (3.1) (600+)
The series premiere of Skeleton (starring singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding) scored a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating at 9 PM.
The total amount of viewers was 12.13 million in the US. Your predictions were far too pessimistic.
Sekelton ranks as this summer’s highest rated series premiere in both adults 18-49 and viewers. Skeleton also
garnered almost 3 million viewers in the UK (2.89) when it premiered on E4 at 9 PM. That comes as no surprise as
Ellie Goulding is one of the biggest popstars in the UK.
The show is set in 1990's New York. It's about a smart, sexy detective called Emily Miles (Ellie Goulding) that can
solve even the toughest cases.
A couple are seen walking through a park, it's getting dark so they decide to leave but want to take a picture first.
They walk over to a tree to take the picture when the man trips. He looks down and sees something sticking out of
the ground, it looks a lot like a bone. He starts digging with his hands while the woman watches. She screams when
the man digs up a skull. The screen goes black for 5 seconds and shows the word "Skeleton".
The next scene shows Detective Miles over the skeleton. She asks what the COD (Cause Of Death) is and a man replies
that it was blunt force trauma to the head. A woman tells her that she found an old piece of clothing around the body and that it has
some blood on it and possible fingerprints. Detective Miles tells her to send it to the lab as she returns to the station. She asks
the witnesses to give a detailed statement of everything that happened. They mention hearing some bushes move near the dead
body but figured it was just animals. The couple leave and Detective Miles looks at the pictures of the crime scene. Her partner,
James Ford, comes back from his lunch break and helps her with the case. The medical examiner, Allison West, calls them both
down to the morgue. Allison says that she looked at the victim's dental records and found out who he is. His name is Oliver Harrison,
he's was 34 and works as a lawyer. She also told them that he was missing for over a year.
With no leads to go on, Detective Miles returns to the crime scene. She realises that she's been looking at this all wrong.
The victim wasn't buried here a year ago, he was buried yesterday. His killer must have kept him and only buried him now.
The killer would have been burying the body and heard the couple walking through. They wouldn't have finished the job and would have
ran instead, that's why the witnesses heard the bushes move. She comes back to the crime scene and looks at footage from all the cameras
around the park. Only four people are seen leaving the park around the time that the witnesses said they found the body, and one of them
is a woman wearing a hood. Detective Ford zooms in closer and notices that the woman wearing the hood is the victim's girlfriend.
They bring her in for questioning but she denies everything. She says that she goes to the park everyday and that they don't have
any concrete evidence. Detective Miles disagree, she tell the victim's girlfriend that they found a piece of clothing around the body
and that it has fingerprints on it. She takes away the glass of water that she handed the suspect and bets that fingerprints are a match.
The final scene shows the victim's girlfriend being taken away in handcuffs and Detective Miles leaving the police station. Ellie Goulding's
new single "Asleep" is played during the credit's. It's also the show's theme song.

Charli XCX on The Tonight show
Charli XCX stopped by The Tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon on friday night to record her appearance on the show. She arrived wearing a blue dress custom made by Dior while wearing large white high heels.

Yeah I can't wait for everyone to get their copy and start jamming to it to be honest. It's an awesome record, I'm happy I got to meet Ariel Rechtshaid back in 2010, o rmy albums would have never been the same.
How do you start writing a song? do you choose a theme or do you write a few lrics and go on form there?
Both, it depends on my mood. Usually I always write down a few ideas when I get some and then use them in songs.
You recently started producing some songs yourself, How did you learn to produce your own music?
Well I've been watching my own producers doing it for the past 4 years, I've learned a few tricks from them. Ariel also helped me, the reason why I really am happy that he's working with me is because he thought me how to produced as well.
How long did it take to complete the album?
Well I started writing for it in April 2013 right after True Romance was rleeased and I also used a few things from my older works. So it took about a year and a half to complete it.
Was all the work from the sessions used for 'Devour My Heart'?
Not exactly since I've wrote more than 40 songs for it and only 12 made the album. I've recorded a total of like 24 or 25 songs as well. All those songs that don't make the cut can either be released as part of a mixtape or used later on.
After the commercial break, Charli went up on stage wearing a studded bikini and high wasted studded transparent plastic skirt. With her amazing voice she started singing the first few vocals of 'Alone in the Dark'. Two dancers around her wearing similar outfits. The performance was a minimalistic performance of the song and the dancers were simple doing a small 'ballet' style of choreography near the band. Charli's microphone stand was shooting a regular white light. She also sang an extended version of the son. The performance was 7 minutes long instead of the 4 minutes that the studio version of the song it. The video of the performance was uploaded on The Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon's Youtube channel and it's views count towards streaming points. 'Alone in the Dark' is the lead single from Charli XCX's album 'Devour My Heart' which are both available digitally on multiple retailers. 'Devour My Heart' is also available physically.

Last night's #FREETHENIPPLE convention at the Osborn III Convention Center in Jacksonville, Florida was filled with excitement. Although the show began at 8pm, fans and other attenders began to arrive at 5pm with hopes of catching a glimpse of Rita Ora, the main headliner, or Azealia Banks and Brandy who were performing short opening sets. Sure enough, Brandy arrived first and walked along the pink carpet; the pink symbolizing support for nipples. She wore a floor length dress with a slit up to her thigh and a fringed leather jacket. She stopped briefly to greet fans and then entered to VIP lounge to relax before performing. Azealia was next to show up. She was wearing a custom made Valentino mini-gown with beaded sequins and complete with boho tinted sunglasses. Ana Kohl, creator of the campaign arrived, wearing a strapless Givenchy dress and had her hair up in a formal bun. Rita was the last to arrive, and was the most spectacular. She wore a see-through mesh crop top embedded with tiny diamonds with no bra underneathe. The top was custom made Alexander McQueen f/w 1998 and her pants where Chanel. She matched her outfit with red Louboutin's and a dark smoky eye and red lips. She was a shimmering image of beauty. She signed autographs and posed for pictures. She then said, "See you guys later, onstage!" After all the celebrities had walked the carpet, the paparazzi and the attendees started filling out the chairs and in no time the arena was full.
First up was Azealia Banks to perform. Known for her charitable ways and attitude towards freedom of the body, Azealia Banks performed at Rita Ora's #FREETHENIPPLE event. At the event Azealia was sure to perform some of her biggest hits like Free and Dramatix but also include songs from her new album Reborn. Throughout the concert Azealia had 3 outfit changes in which they were all designed by a collaboration between Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana. During Azealia's opening song, Paradiso, the crowd went wild jumping in the air from excitement of seeing Azealia perform this hot new hit. Wearing a baby blue flowing chiffon caftan with her straight green extensions blowing in the wind, Azealia looked like a goddess as she stepped out on stage to raise support for the freedom of the nipple. Videos of Azealia's appearance at Rita's event have since surfaced online and gained a notable amount of views on YouTube.
Next was Brandy. She got onstage to the sound of the crowd cheering for her. Before launching into her biggest hits she got the crowd to sing along with her to "Fire" ft Chris Brown. She then danced around the stage engaging the audience through call and response. She sang a couple more of her hits, and thanked the crowd before leaving.
Last up was Rita, herself. When she walked on, the entire arena erupted into cheers. She stood there for a couple of seconds just staring in amazement as the crowd chanted "WE LOVE YOU RITA". She had changed into a mini dress with tiny sequins that reflected the light and made her seem like a moving rainbow. She launched her set off with a fierce performance of her new promo singe "Fire Starter". As the R&B baseline throbbed she jumped and danced along to the beat. Even the crowd got up and joined her. Her vocals reverberated throughout the entire arena and it was truly a performance to see. Next, she sang a cover of Azealia's Paradiso and got the audience to sing along with her. She then called Azealia back onstage for an encore of her first single Vibes. As Azealia sang Vibe's again, Rita added a special bridge to the song. After the song ended, a fan yelled, "Will we ever get this remix of Vibes?" to which Rita responded, "If Azealia says yes." Azealia laughed and told the crowd maybe before hugging Rita and exiting the stage. Rita then sang a small snippet of a song from her new album called, "Impulse to Soar". Before ending her set, Rita sand the fan favorite "Losing Me". She didn't even have to sing the chorus as they sang it for her. When she concluded her performance, she thanked the crowd and left with tears of joy streaming down her face. "It was a night, I'll never forget," she said in an interview following her performance.

Ellie performs at a charity concert (400+)
Ellie Goulding performed a few of her hit songs at a charity event to help raise
money for homeless people. Over ten thousand people attended and almost two hundred
thousand dollars were donated to the charity. Find out how you can donate money here:

The curtains open and the crowd cheered. The stage has drum, two guitars, a piano and a microphone
in the middle. The stage itself was circular with lights around the edges. The band walked onto
the stage and Ellie followed a few seconds later, wearing a pink dress and black high heels.
The stage was lit up by blue, purple and green lights. The band began playing the Lights
instrumental and Ellie started singing after twenty seconds. She did a few dance maves at the
microphone, but nothing too complicated. At the last chorus she sat at the drums
and played them while singing. The next song is Starry Eyed. The start of the performance just has
Ellie playing the guitar while singing the song but halfway through, five dancers enter the stage and
do the same choreography as in the video. Ellie trips towards the end but quickly recovers from the
fall, hoping that nobody noticed her mistake. Ellie leaves the stage for five minutes to change and
drink some water, she comes back wearing this:
The power went out and the speakers and microphone weren't working so Ellie was forced to sing without
one. Three backup singers appear on stage and sing Anything Could Happen with Ellie. The fourth song was
Burn. Ellie does a lot of dancing to this song. There were flames coming from the ground and flashing
light all over the stage. Ellie goes backstage again and changes into a blue t-shirt, black jacket and
grey trousers. She sings Dreaming Again (The lead single from her last album) while dancing. At the end
of the song, the three backup dancers are see clipping harnesses onto Ellie. She was lifted into the air
while singing her new single Asleep. The audience looked shocked, they were scared that something might
happen to Ellie because everyone knows that anything could happen... but everything turned out fine.
When the concert ended, Ellie signed autographs, sold albums, posters and t-shirts and took pictures with fans.
