Its hard to relate to this album because Im not in love right now But Im glad its about her current stange in life, her albums are always reflective on that.
This album is pure Shakira. The people that don't like it were probably expecting some Latin ****** album. She is goingg back to her roots. This is her English DELL to be honest.
I´ll do it soon. I just listened to Ready For The Good Times for the first time (i used to confuse it with Men In This Town, so i thought i had heard it already, but i just noticed i didnt till now), and i got obsessed with it. I think Chasing Shadows has a really similar vibe to RFTGT, i love them both
Oh sis... how could you live this long without RFTGT !!!???? .... You need to watch the tour of the Mongoose live version to love it even more...

Only song I want to skip sometimes is dare.
How is this pure Shakira though? It sounds more adult contemporary than her "roots" and the lyrics are so... plain. It's still a great album, but I'm having a really hard time accepting that's it's a Shakira album because it sounds like something literally anyone would write and sing, while even She Wolf screams pure Shaki weirdness. Idk. The actual musical compositions aren't as complex or interesting as I know Shakira is capable of, either.
Well, sadly i enjoy BEYONCE more than SHAKIRA.
So many ballads of which the majority is mediocre to meaningless. The other half is good, Empire, YDCAM, Medicine, CS,Cut me Deep and Dare are nice tracks and i wish there was more variety in terms of sound and lyrics Not bad, but definitely not her best.
Holy Fixations remain untouchable.
