I love Pure Heroine, one of my favourite albums that came out last year.
Ikr! On the first listen, I was kind of like, "Um... What the hell is this?" I didn't get the whole concept of "teeth" or anything like that and I felt like she was overusing her lyrics and stuff, but now viewing the album as a whole, it was kind of genius for someone her age. Very mature. She has a lot of potential and I really like her as an artist. She's very promising and she's a hard worker. She's very much who she is and she's not going to change that. She can come off as not having much of a personality in interviews and stuff, but I think she's just a normal 17-year-old girl and her talent is crazy. I really like her!
This may have already been discussed before on the base, and if it was, I'm sorry, but do any of you Daydreamers stan for Lorde? I'm starting to really like some of her music a lot. I bought her albums and I really like her interpretation of things and her writing style. For someone her age, she is so talented! Not Adele level, but she's really good! Anyone else agree?

Yeah, at first some of her comments really irritated me but then I realized what she meant by it and she's kind of right. There were different ways to address it, but I do like her honesty and how real and relatable she is. I like her a lot.

She will learn or not, she has some maturing to do as does anyone at her age...she's new, hit the scene by storm, and they wanna drag her down, analyze every little thing...she'll be okay as long as she puts out quality music

Exactly. And it seems like her work ethic is pretty good and she has a really interesting and unique writing ability that I think very few teen stars had when they hit the scene. She's young and she obviously has a lot of maturing to do, and she didn't really know what to expect, I mean... When "Royals" took off, I'm sure that everything seemed to be moving fast for her and I don't think she was entirely prepared. She obviously isn't perfect, no one is, but I do appreciate the fact that she's honest and real. She puts out quality music, so... I think she should be okay. Let's hope "Team" cracks the top 10, or even the top 5 on the Hot 100!
