The not allowed to perform on T.V. thing is weird to me. With Break Free she wasn't allowed to do it till the Vma's, but she still promoted between the vma's and the release of break free, she just couldn't sing the song cause the vma's had an exclusive.

But it seemed like the BBMAs had the Into You exclusive, and that's why she dodged it on GMA a few days earlier and didn't upload it's Vevo Live performance until after. She's already sang it at The Voice too so why would she be barred when she's already done it

Maybe she got an exclusive deal with MTV or something, hence the multiple nominations.

There's no excuse for the lack of promo. OLT was a fifth single and still went top 15, so it's not like she had just flopped and needed to put new music out before she was forgotten. The GP (and her fans) would've waited for her. There was no reason she needed to jump right into the next era, but that was her decision, and it's common sense that when you put out new music you do promo. Clearly it's not that she's overworked, seeing as she's already in the studio working on the next album.
