Get your jazz hands ready, Gleeks! Charice is returning to 'Glee' later this season to reprise her role as Rachel's (Lea Michele) rival, Sunshine Corazon.
"I am so blessed to be coming back," she gushed to PopEater at the annual Woman's Day Red Dress Awards in New York. "Ryan Murphy [the creator] and I have been talking, and it's finally happening."
Charice will return for four episodes to complete the storyline she began earlier this season. Although she is tight-lipped about her appearance, she's hoping for a full Beyonce episode when she returns to the hit FOX show.
"I've been asking if I can perform Beyonce's 'If I Were a Boy' or 'Crazy in Love,'" she tells us. We're crossing our fingers that the glee club can 'Work it Out' for a full-fledged Beyonce episode.
Charice gained worldwide attention last summer after she told press she got Botox and an anti-aging procedure "to look fresh on camera" for her 'Glee' debut. "All people will be anticipating how will Charice look? Is she good enough to pit against Rachel Berry? So of course there is tremendous pressure," Charice said during an interview in July.
The fresh-faced star has apparently moved on. "That was blown out of proportion," she tells us, adding she has no regrets.
