Review:
Till The World Ends - Simple yet catchy, very Ke$ha vibey but nothing wrong with that. The lyrics are very 'sing-along' The beat is perfect for clubs, is #1 worthy. Deserves a very hot music video! - 8.5/10
Hold It Against Me - Love the dubstep, lyrics make the song. "Would You Hold It Against Me?" is a very addictive saying, perfect for clubs. Although, it's very Take It Off. BUT, it has more high expections than the song, the video topped it off with a hot routine and amazing visuals. - 7/10
Inside Out - HOLY ****, the lyrics are ****ing tasty. Would be a summer song sensation, great for relaxing. The "SO COME ON!" are so amazing, proof she can hit the high notes. Love the "Hit Me" and "Drive me Crazy" lyrics. Perfect productions for this song, possibly one of my fav songs on the album. Possibly.
- 10/10
I Wanna Go - Very addictive beat, has a good melody but the whistles make the song and then it drops the beat and she sweetly sings "I-I-I Wanna Go-O-O-O." then the beat kicks back in and makes the want to part. Perfect for either party or relaxing, love it! - 9/10
(Drop Dead) Beautiful (Feat. Sabi) - Cheesy lyrics, reminds me of the previous track 'I Wanna Go' but then it gets rid of that and pumps into a very club worthy beat with Britney chanting "BEAUTIFUL, DROP DEAD." It gets very 'dull' but cheers you up with the pre-chorus and chorus. Then the newbie, Sabi comes in with an opening lyrics such as "hahahahaha, oooh, I think I like you" SORRY, I doubt she will be very popular... but shes bound to be a veggie tart.
- 6.5/10
Seal It With A Kiss - Love the 'ooooh hoooo' plus it seems like a very happy song! Reminds me of In The Zone because of the famous quotes as lyrics "Cross my heart, etc." Very Ke$ha - Grow A Pear-eque but much better. Nothing to say much about this since it doesn't really stand out, one of my least fav songs on the album but it's good. - 8/10
Big Fat Bass (Feat. Will.I.Am) - It starts with a autotune robot guy chanting "THE BIG FAT BASS!" and the gorgeous autotunes Britney, theres little instruments that remind me of Mannequin - Britney and Zelda - Theme Song but it's all good, very Boom Boom Pow like. But nothing surprising if you look at all the Black Eyed Peas previous albums. Will.I.Am's verse is bareable, it could of done with a little bit of tweaking with autotune but it's all good. - 8/10
Trouble For Me - It seems FL Studio like but it's seems very Blackout like, the "ooh oh ohhh" in the background echos which gives it some strength, the dubstep like synths aren't very nice, puts me off a little bit. One of my least favs on the album, will avoid it. 4/10
Trip To Your Heart - When it started I thought 'California Gurls' but until it went into the opening lyrics, that went away. Very soothing vocals from Britney, the chorus gives it strength. I see this being in the Top 5 chart. "I'll fly away to a trip to your heart." as Britney breathly says, a very-heart warming song. - 7.5/10
Gasoline - It starts off with orgasms but thats always cool! When it started I thought it said Vaseline.
But it's a good song! Top 10 worthy, lyrics are addicting. I love the guitar in the chorus, it gives it strength. 8/10
Criminal - The start reminds me of that Nelly Furtado song, I can't remember the name though. I see this being a popular song with teenagers. Seems Katy Perry-eque but Katy can always dream that she had this song, can't she? Love the lyrics, perfect chorus and beat. Amazing! - 10/10
Final:
Very good album! It ***** on Blackout, some songs are meh, but I can see them growing on me. Britney has done good for this album, I wish her well with her sales.
