I
CANNOT at U-ie possibly missing the upcoming After School Japan tour. Girl, the graduation door is very open. Add up all the 'hints' she's giving this year. But I love how she's in touch with reality, and how close she is with E-Young and Kaeun. She's really the older sister of the group. Not to mention the most successful member still.
I also
CANNOT at Jungah missing an After School performance for the first time. This makes me want to have a second full album more than ever. She has contributed a lot to After School, and is the glue that keeps them together because of her role as the 'mother' of the group.
I feel like Jungah and U-ie are gonna graduate the group this year or around 2015, so a second full album with them still around would be so special. More special than the tracklist mess that was Virgin (hello? Yoonjo, Lime and Kyungmin getting more lines than... E-Young? What even?!)
I would want to see what After School will be like when Juyeon's time as leader comes. It has been observed that the group's sound changes significantly under different leadership. Under Kahi, they had this strong, independent woman image. With Jungah, they portrayed more of the sensual, mature woman. The Juyeon era is going to be interesting because it'll push Juyeon to the front more, and would be the last era with an original member.
Also, I think Kaeun is one or two pushes away from exploding into another star like UEE and Nana. My intuition tells me we're going to get a new sub-group once one or two new girls get admitted.
P.S. I know it was just a one-off, but another AS Red/Blue comeback either this year (after the proper full group comeback) or for next year would be amazing!
I rest my case.
