I don't have dreams about celebrities either I have dreams about random people I don't even remember ever having met so I probably only saw them for like 5 seconds irl
Same! I rarely ever recognize the people in my dreams.
in my dream about ATRL I was having a full blown meltdown and posted like a million threads all over the forum where I was ranting about some random **** and talking about how I was crying and freaking out and how I hated everyone and it was the most embarrassing thing and when I woke up I had never been more glad something was just a dream

I hate it when I do something really embarrassing in a dream but I'm so relieved when I wake up
I'm pretty sure it's been proven that while people sleep their brains are deciding what information is important to keep and what information can be disposed of. So I believe dreams are kind of random amalgamations of information made to entertain your conscious while your brain is in this process. That's why it's so hard to remember anything from your dreams, or at least it takes a lot more effort to do so. It's not new information, nor is it things made to be remembered.
