Ke$ha came onto So You Think You Can Dance on Sunday the 22nd of October.
She joyfully jogged onto the stage and sang an up-tempo version of Cold Hands.
At first she just sang, but then her dancers came out.
She danced with them during the chorus and let her back-up singers do most of the work.
She returned to sin-in- during the second verse and the bride.
Ke$ha did amazing choreography with her dancers in the second verse.
The last chorus was amazing, she danced and did amazing vocals at the same time.
Cold Hands peaked at #6 so far! Let's get it Top 5 this week!
The music video begins with a close-up of Ke$ha. The camera zooms out and shows her in a forest. She's holding the camera
She looks scared. The song begins playing.
The performance started off with the stage lit with little dark yet vidid red lights, that went around the perimeter of the large stage, that had a staircase in leading up to an upper level stage connected to it and on either side of that were curved staircases leading down to the main stage that had a catwalk stretching out towards the audience. The audience cheered after that introduced Taylor to the stage and smoke started to fill the stage as a screen in the middle above the staircase turned dark red. The instrumental of Girl With The Red Lipstick started more tiny screens started to turn dark red, the same hue as the original one. It continued like in a flashing pattern until the whole screen turned red and Taylor was seen in a black tight blouse that had a transparent like section in the middle leading down to a pair of short shorts that were the color black. To finish off the outfit she wore a pair of black six inch heels as some dancers popped up beside her. Her lips were ruby red and her hair was straightened, giving her a model type of sexed up look. She began singing Girl With The Red Lipstick into her red mic as the male dancers began touching up on her. She got a bit frisky with them and starting grinding on one as another touched her thigh and pulled it up on his waist. It was hot and heavy as it continue until the bridge hit, sending the production of the performance into dubstep like pre-chorus the whole stage going dark but the red lights on the perimeter of the stage lighting it up. The chorus hit and Taylor did some hair flips and did some interactive choreography with her dancers as she moved down the staircase and out towards the catwalk. During the second verse, all the guys lined up in a row and Taylor tore their shirts from their chest as she pulled out a tube of red lipstick. She drew hearts on all of the guys chest except one and when she went to draw one on him, she drew and ‘X’ and he fell through the stage and smoke shot up. Taylor smirked as a dancer hitched her thigh on his hip and she leaned back to look at the audience before she got up to do some more dancing. The bridge was epic as a dubstep breakdown hit and she began doing some choreography. The whole stage was illuminated with red and lasers of black shot out of places as Taylor moved out further to the catwalk. The dubstep breakdown stopped and the dancers dropped to the floor except Taylor who was all the way out as far the catwalk could go. She hit a big vocal note and confetti flew everywhere. She finished off the performance by doing some choreo with the male dancers who spring back up from the stage to do more dancing with her. The performance ended with Taylor applying some make up and the stage went dark again
The music video beings with a close-up of Ke$ha. The camera zooms out and shows her in a forest. She's holding the camera
She looks scared. The song begins playing.
You can then see the footage of Ke$ha walking through the forest from the camera in night vision.
The chorus begins and a ghost appears beside Ke$ha.
She grabs the ghost's cold blue hand.
They continue walking until the second verse starts and Ke$ha hears someone following her.
She runs and hides inside a bush. You can see a person walking by.
The second chorus begins and Ke$ha is shown sleeping in a tree. It is no longer night time.
She wakes up and jumps down. The man following Ke$ha spots her and start running just as the bride begins.
She turns around and the man shoots. He misses but she falls down.
He comes close and aims. The ghost charges at the man. It runs into him and sets him on fire.
They are both lifted into the air. Ke$ha is in shock. She finds her way out of the forest and returns home.
Phoebe Tonkin performs and talks on Alan Carr: Chatty Man show
Phoebe Tonkin appeared on Alan Carr's Chatty Man show to perform her latest single Bedtime Stories live and to talk about everything that is going on now with her life. For her outfit, Phoebe was wearing a beautiful and chic black leather jacket, black and thight dress, which showed off her beautiful body lines perfectly and she looked amazing, and also, black Louboutin high-heeled shoes. Overall, her outfit was a pure perfection and she looked so fierce in that leather jacket, like a true rockstar, it really fits her whole black outfit, and you can tell that Phoebe likes to wear black outfits lately. Phoebe was wearing hair extensions and her hair was pulled into a long low ponytail in the back, but in some parts her hair was a little bit messy, so it just added that perfect but not perfect effect to her rocker outfit. She looked really cute and nice, and uh oh, those beautiful killer legs were uncovered so everyone could see her nice and long legs. When she was walking down those stairs to go for an interview with Alan, the show's host was amazed and said out loud with excitement 'Oh God, those legs, that outfit! Phoebe, darling, you can turn any gay man straight again!' and after that, Phoebe just blushed, covering up her cheeks a little bit so no one could see her red blush. Then, they both sat down on the sofas or whatever those things are to chit chat about Phoebe's life, and how it changed after she released her first single, Bedtime Stories.
A: So, Phoebe, tell us, what happened in that love triangle, that consists of you, Harry Styles and Olly Murs?
P: Oh God, you told me before the show that you won't start with this complicated question! Well, it's very complicated, because I honestly don't get anything about this whole story. Well, me and Harry met each other last week at MTV European Music Awards, and we had so much in common, we spent that whole award show just talking to each other and everyone around us were like 'Shush! We are trying to enjoy this award show!' and then we used to like, giggle or something, and it was really fun, and he complimented my performance, too. So we exchanged our numbers and then we started talking with each other on the phone, which was really fun, we have so much in common and it's so easy to talk with him, I just could talk and talk with him, and he is really a nice person, very smart and charming. And when I've told him I'll be in UK and Europe to promote my single, he was like 'Oh, you can stay at my apartament! UK's hotels are really bad these days' and since I've never been to UK before, I was like what if he's serious and I was like OK. So I ended up staying at his house. And when I arrived in UK, I was a bit confused when he was like with all those roses and stuff, I didn't know what is happening, I was thinking like 'Maybe this is how they greet people in UK?' and I took it.
A: And then? What's the thing with Olly?
P: Well, that's another side of the story. When me and Harry went on a date after my X Factor UK performance, we went to a restaurant, and when we had our dinner, we went for a walk in London, and then somehow, Olly Murs showed up and started words fight with, he was like 'Back off! Phoebe is mine! I told you want to date her!' and it was a complete MESS, he looked so desperate tho, I don't like that kind of guys, who are like 'she's mine, not yours, you can't be friends with her', and I didn't understand, what is he doing, because at the moment, me and Harry are only friends, we are going on dates and talking to each other, but at the moment, I'm still free, even if I can admit that I like Harry, but now we're just friends, not a couple, yet. So it was even more weird when Olly started fistfighting and he lost against Harry. I know I shouldn't say this, but it was really funny when Olly lost his fight with Harry and then walked off shouting 'I won! This is not over!' and stuff like that, and he had his middle finger up in the air. Grow up dude, don't act so childish.
A: Really? Only friends? You and Harry?
P: Yes, for now, we are only friends. I don't even know what might happen in future, because yes, I can admit, I like Harry and I feel like he's more than a friend to me, he's fun, charming, smart and cute, and we have so much in common, we are always talking and chatting about different things, and that's amazing, because that's the key to a good relationship. But at the moment we are just friends that are hanging out around, we like to talk and spend time together, we go on dates and stuff, and for now, we're just enjoying each other's company without any labels, like, girlfriend boyfriend and stuff, but we will see how this will turn out in near future. After all, we also need to see how we will be able to continue our relationship and stuff while we're in different continents, because he's living in UK and at the moment I'm mostly focusing on America, since my music carreer started and I'm getting a lot of new movie roles offers, so it's for sure, that we are going to spend a lot of time seperately.
A: Wow, how complicated that is... So, let's talk about your music. What is going on with your single!
P: Ahh, many things are happening, to be honest! I've released my first and debut single Bedtime Stories last saturday via iTunes, since I've got signed under Indigo Records and now I'm working way more than I used to, since I need to release an album and do way more stuff. And I'm really happy, to be honest. I'm so happy that I got signed under Indigo Records, because that's the record company that does amazing things to their artists, books as much performance slots as they want and just does amazing stuff for their artists. So far, me and Bridgit Mendler are signed under this label, so that's why we are getting all the performance slots lately, the spotlight are on us. And my single debuted in number two on CAL charts, that quite big for an unknown singer, and I'm so happy, but since my label seen that I can be big, they are putting a lot of effort on me, and now, there's a pressure, because I know I can reach that number one spot, and my label wants to have their first number one too. So, we're doing the best we can, and now my schedule is... just really big and busy and stuff, I need to do at least five or something performances a day. That's hard, but I'm trying to do my best. I know that I can do my best.
A: And your record is coming out soon. How do you feel about that?
P: Perfectly. I'm so confident with this album, because I've worked on it, a lot, and I can't wait for people to hear it. It's a bit of mixed album, because on some songs, I'm doing that worldbeat, dance and pop mash up, and on some other songs, you can clearly hear that indie, indie rock, indie dance and stuff like that influences, so I want to see, how people will actually react to that mess. But that mess is kind of amazing, I'm so proud of it and I want it to be out as soon as possible, I've worked on it for a whole year, I've put a lot of effort in it, and I think all the songs sounds the best they can. I've collaborated with some amazing fellow artists for this record, I think I've collaborated with... about three or four, and they all fit this amazing theme. Those artists are quite big and they all reached those number ones, on albums charts or on singles charts. So I'm happy that I got these big names for my album.
A: When is it coming out?
P: Probably in November's first or second week, we have planned some promo for it, and I will also tour, I'll do a mini fourteen dates tour around U.S., and maybe I'll extend that tour for some European dates, but I don't want to tell a lot, since I don't know when is the album coming out exactly, but I can sure you, that it's getting out really soon. Me and my label checked out the best week, so nobody could be blocked or something, since we don't want to do that contest, when fans would fight for their favorite singers and stuff, and I think November's second week would be the best time to release an album, because as I know, nobody is releasing that week. But I can't wait for everyone to hear it. And, uh oh, also, pre-order for the album will be up really really soon, when we will figure out the final date for album's release, the same second we are going to put it for pre-order on iTunes, Amazon and even couple of other internet shops.
A: Can you reveal something about it?
P: Sure! I can confirm some tracks for it, like, Bedtime Stories, Twentynine Palms, California Dreamin', which is probably one of the tracks that I feel like it's going to be a huge hit, and it also features someone who inspired this whole album, also, songs like Twisted Hearts, American Stars, Midsummer Days and others. I'm so happy about every single track on this album, because it's, it's like a part of myself, they're all like story, that talks about part of my life, and it's like my own musical diary, because you can actually hear a full story if you're listening closer to it. I think it's a magical thing how you write and record all of these songs, and only, when you're relistening to them, you can only then hear that they're all like telling some part of the big story, and I've put them in that order, so you could hear that full story, but you just need to listen to those lyrics. And this whole album is produced by amazing producers team, such like Calvin Harris, Stargate, Rick Rubin, Dom Kennedy and other great professional producers. They all teamed up for me and created this masterpiece, that I'm really happy about.
Then, Phoebe went on stage to perform her new single Bedtime Stories. It was really a simple performance, but at the same time beautiful performance. She was standing infront of mic stand with live band behind her, playing the instrumental. Her voice was amazing, she was rocking those vocals while she was hitting high and low notes easily, like she could do that in her sleep without even trying. She was dancing and moving around all the time, which made this whole performance eventually even more beautiful, fun, joyful and way more cooler to watch. Everyone in the audience went wild for Phoebe and her live band after the performance, and everyone in the audience gave her a standing ovation, while shouting her name. It seems like UK and Europe really likes Phoebe and her music.
TAYLOR SWIFT PERFORMS ON DANCING WITH THE STARS
Taylor Swift has released the third single from her fifth studio album ‘All At Once’ this past week and it’s already been taking over and making it’s way up the charts all around the globe, in numerous countries. ‘Girl With The Red Lipstick’, a Max Martin and Shellback production, with Swift’s undeniably poetic and melodic lyrics, it was a clear and apparent single choice from the album. One of the two pure pop songs on the album, it seems like Swift has made the right decision as fans were hyped and ecstatic about the single choice by Miss Taylor Swift. With Taylor all around the world doing performances on television, doing interviews on the internet and web, she’s been almost everywhere promoting the single. And she returned to the states today to perform on the program Dancing With The Stars that airs on the ABC network. Taylor Swift took the stage and dance floor (surprisingly) to deliver an amazing and well executed performance of ‘Girl With The Red Lipstick.’
The performance started by an introduction by the male and female host. “Here to perform her latest single ‘Girl With The Red Lipstick’ from her fifth album ‘All At Once’... TAYLOR SWIFT!”
The stage and dance floor were dark as the shadows of dancers lined either side of the dance floor and up to the stage that had a staircase leading down to the small main stage where most non choreographed routines take place. Smoke filled the venue as everything went black before a bright red strobe light came over the venue and Taylor appeared at the top of the staircase in a black mini dress. She stared out at the dancers on the floor as if she was nervous and insecure. She then pulled out a tube of ruby red lipstick and put it on, immediately smirking after as if it gave her confidence. She then started singing as the dancers stood in place. She stood at the top of the staircase and started doing hand motions as if she had control over the dancers, on synch with her hand motions they moved and she did a lot of hair flipping and swinging. The chorus hit and of course Taylor did her signature hip movements and hair flipping. The second verse hit and she commanded the dancers to line up at the steps and as she did she got another lube of lipstick and ran it across their white shirts as she descended on the staircase. A dubstep breakdown hit (bridge) instead of the usual second chorus. She did some choreography with her dancers before they stripped her down to another more revealing outfit and she continued singing The performance was innovative and original as the audience applauded Taylor for her wonderful vocals.
