What he's reporting may have some truth, but remember Rodger Friedman lost access to Mariah's camp when Cindi Berger was fired. He has been particularly bitter since then. EPIC would want to capitalise off Mariah's World exposure and the tour, just as Def Jam capitalised on Idol (T, AH, #B). My worry is that they wont promote it properly and it suffers, which would add to negative press. Would she even have time to promote it wisely since she'll be on tour?

We know she met with the label execs a while ago when news of her separation first broke back in November.
