with ''come and get it'' we had huge promo... mtv movie awards,ellen show,dancing with the stars,billboard awards,gma!!! now we have nothing so far... yes I know nobody likes ''hollywood records'' but they did better work in ''stars dance'' era..I hope that interscope save all the huge promo in october with album release!!

I think Interscope and Aleen are doing just fine with Selena. Everything is going great so far and I think the album promo will be everything and more.

And yes, C&GI had amazing promo from HWR the album on the other hand didn't. They trashed the whole era after Slow Down and acted like it never existed (I don't wanna put all the blame on HWR tho I think Selena herself also had a hand in that).

I have to agree. I mean of course HWR booked Selena some nice promo spots in the SD era but they made so many mistakes. They promoted TF out of CAGI but every promo spot after June was not helping the album/single sales at all (excluding that Halftime show).

Interscope is doing SO good, I mean big billboards at Time Square and on busses, a massive radio deal, The Voice, plenty of radio interviews all over the world, ads on YouTube, Vevo, Twitter etc.
They are promoting a lot, we only need performances which are coming soon as Selena confirmed by herself.

Thats what I;ve been saying the whole time. For promo to work and not be wasted, the song has to be high on radio and streams. And now it is, so now she will perform. They dont want Selena to be hated by being everywhere - the GP already knows her, loves her and supports her - check iTunes. Or performing everywhere and then people say "with all the pushing obviously she will do well"

Interscope have sent GFY to Latin Urban and it's doing so well there. What are they waiting for HOT AC? Unless they want a #1 in Overall radio, I don't get it.

TBH I think this can hit #1 and I am not saying this because I stan Selena. This song has been sitting pretty in the Top 10 for more than 2 months with no performances YET, It's about to get a new peak on BB100 and a VMA performance is on lock. Even if she doesn't perform at the VMAs, we know she will perform somewhere soon means its gonna help GFY either way so I'll say #5.

I have no hope for a #1 peak, but I'm still hopeful for top 5
