N - The album is a cohesive record. To be honest, nothing on this album will be full POP. I worked with Jay Z and his vision and sound inspired me. So him, Max, Prince, Ariel, Dr Luke and I got into the studio. Dr Luke was really out of his element because we weren't working on typical basic pop records. In the end, it came together smoothly.
E- Can you tell us the sound of the album?
N- As I said it's not typical pop. It's more Urban/Trap/Hip Hop songs with a tinge of Pop. The album has this overall exotic, sad feeling. I have been listening to "Back To Basics" by Christina Aguilera and she really influenced this album. I recorded with live instruments like violins which there will be alot of. The songs are hard hitting yet has this solemn stripped back feeling.
E- What does this album mean to you?
N- Oh, it means alot. I remember an interview when I first came on to the music scene where I said I want to be transparent and show a side of myself my fans have never seen. Well, this album is more personal. I sing about my personal life. A time where life itself was hell to me. I'm sure when you hear the album you will cry like I did while recording the album. (laughs)
E- Can you tell us the name your album? The fans has are really eager. (chuckles)
N - The album is called "Truly Madly Deeply"
E - Does this name mean anything to you?
N - Yes, of course. "Truly" stands for the lyrics and how true they are. Nothing I sing about on this album is made up. It's my life and I have no reason to lie. "Madly" means that the songs are dark. Darker than usual coming from me. "Deeply" means that the songs are close to my heart and I hope that my fans will hold it close to their heart as well. I want people to relate to the songs.
E- What is your favourite song from the album?
N- To be frank, they all are my babies. (laughs) But the one closest to my heart is a song I recorded about the person who saved me from my nightmare. The song is called "The Salvation"
E- Oh my god, I can't wait hear it.
N - (laughs)

Unexpected (EP) out of 6 songs being independantly released 4 of them were #1 in the US. Alex can do every genre and his fanbase is still buying it.
