I like SAO I a lot It's linked to the first season, don't worry, the old characters are all there. Though this time Asuma isn't being such a badass, at least for now. But I bet she'll start helping more in future episodes After you finish the first season, definitely give it a try, it's worth it imo.
SOA is overrated. It's entertaning but the character development is so weak since most of the screenplay is used for Kirito (even Asuna turned out to be a major disappointment after episode 5). The Fairy Dance arc didn't bothered me that much like it did with the rest of the fans but Sugou was such a boring villain

I've recently gotten into Tokyo Ghoul. The art imo, is horrendous though. SAO is a overrated piece of trash, Kill La Kill is amazing although lacking in the end. Akame Ga Kill is good but kek at how irrelevant Akame is, can't wait for Mein to die . Free! Is amazing Muh tears
