She's not associated with Bieber anymore at all... That was only at the start, when the only people who knew the song were people who had seen that video.
Now, 90% of the people who know the song don't even know about that video where they are dancing to the song.
It's just a very fun and catchy song, that's why it's become so big. It's maybe not iconic or something, but it's just a very happy song
I don't listen to it that much myself, but I can understand why it's on the radio so much. I don't think it's really overrated...
