I went on a road trip south and we used TONS of CDs, like several dozen, on the drive.

Mix random mix CDs from when I was 8, , Born This Way, Anti, Ashlee Simpson,

I mostly buy records now.

Idk, CD sales are steeply decreasing each year. They should be even more expensive considering that. I know in Europe they're like 17 euros each which is so expensive

CD's are gonna be done with by the end of this decade. Have you seen the sales to date this year compared to 2015?

It's really funny -- digital sales continued to make the industry decline for a decade. Yet streaming is making the industry increase and it's the one considered 'killing the industry'.

Like nobody cared when people were spending $1.29 and albums were down 15%, and nobody was protesting digital songs.

Idk if it's geekily and Spy Kidsihly called 'The Illuminat!' but some type of "do what thou wilt!" propaganda is hardcore being pushed. I don't think they're going to be "gone," at least not completely. They'll continue to be collector's items for fans.

As long as you still have artists like Adele and Taylor around, labels will always find a way to keep CDs from fading completely away. And yes, I'm aware that Adele and Taylor won't always be as popular as they are now, but there will always be artists out there that will keep albums from fading.

Physical copies are becoming collector's items now.
That's why I made the switch to vinyl when I was, like 14.
It's not like I was gonna "pop it into the CD player!", but I used to make a lot of mixed CDs.

Not to the extent of people who go out of their way to discredit Streaming. Half this site still thinks 'streaming shouldn't even be included in the charts' even though it's obviously the biggest way of consuming music now.

I meant CDs will go as the main way of measuring an album's success by 2020. They'll be a collectors/fan niche like Vinyl.

For me it all goes back to God vs Satan. It would make sense that the Illuminati/world government/NWO whatever what have you are all secretly devil worshippers who push this idea of wild and carefree living. Notice how religion is becoming less and less relevant in the world today (not necessarily a bad thing. But God and religion are two different things. Get rid of religion, but not God.) They want us to live unholy and die on our sin. The devil wants as many souls as he can get before Jesus comes back.

People who are enamored by their favourite popular artists and the glow of pop culture don't like to see it's negative forces, which are actually pretty bad, by the way.

Why is pop so secular? Why is it always pushing partying, sex, drugs? Not even in a light-hearted way, it's directly always saying these things are enticing/cool. Kind of weird and 'let's tempt them with this! ' I wonder how many messed up young people continually fill their minds with that all the time.

Madonna creepily says "I'm tired of the concept of right and wrong!" in American Life. She said it at the MTV Awards before kissing Brit/X. Let's take that in, "I'm tired of the concept of right and wrong." Pop stars today really push that message more than anything.

"I'm tired of the concept of right and wrong." Well, what the **** is this implying. Pop will continue to go further with what they wanna push. We don't see the lengths now in our little 2016 world, but stupidity is put on such a high pedestal. What concepts are they gonna try (really hard btw, like they always do) to blur and deem acceptable?
