Guys I don't think 13 Reasons Why is a sure thing anymore.
I'm pretty sure I read about the script being done a while back also every once in a while Jay gives people hope by tweeting that it's still happening. I wonder if he's pissed it's taking so long.

The reason why I think it's not a sure thing anymore is because of his latest tweet to a fan.
A fan asked if the rumors she heard about the book being adapted into a film were true.
He said yes the rumors she heard were true and that Universal bought the rights to it. And then he put "fingers crossed." I think it's all up in the air at this point.
If the script is done then they must be waiting for Universal to make the moves. Casting, getting a director, etc.
