The only reason those songs would smash is because they're so generic and they're made to be hits.

All I'm saying is that I wish the album was hip-hop dominated, because that's where Nicki sounds different and unique. I like Popnika, I just hope this album isn't a sign that she's going to transition into full on pop.

Popnika brings her own flavor to it though so therefore they aren't your typical boring generic track, they're fire and hot as hell. That's why Popnika slays!

She'll continue to do half and half, I think.

How is it diverse? All of her pop songs sound the same. I guess she's hungry for that #1..

What works in favor of Nicki is that her (studio, at least) voice is commercial. Kinda like Rihanna, it fits almost every genre and still sounds unique.
