Lydia's grandmother created the code and all the keys were something related to Lydia. Her dead best friend, her dead ex-lover and the character she used to relate when she was a kid. I'm still not sure about Derek tho.

Also, tell me guys, am I the only one who is really annoyed by Scott's lame ass? He and his so-called-pack always gets in trouble and they got saved. In ever freakin episode. I was ready for him to kick that security guy's butt after the music stopped, but no, they were lying on the floor while Derek did the dirty work.

I know its just for plot reasons, but I find it funny since it always looks like he finally remembers to use it. "Oh yeah, my backup power!" Like with his alpha vision to find the tea leaves
