I kinda feel like I'm gonna be disappointed with Red Velvet comeback. Teasers done nothing to me, I only liked Yeri's/ Irene's and cover/ titles are not that good too. Also SM music this year is not my cup of tea, I only liked half of EXO album & NCT U. Hopefully they prove me wrong, I want them to hit it big.

Jonghyun's solos are 90% himself with minimal input from SM.
It was basically an Amber-style release, with a higher budget MV.
His full album this year selling 20k less than his mini last year shows that.

Onew was on the biggest drama in the country, and instead of giving the OST track to him, SM gave it to an EXO member instead.

Taemin's the only one who's treated well.

Compare that to SNSD, who would've had a Taeyeon mini, a Taeyeon full album, a TTS Christmas comeback, a Tiffany mini, Yoona's Chinese album, an OT8 Station track and a Seohyun mini, if Tiffany's scandal didn't blow up.

Shinee gets treated pretty well tbh. They always somehow have music out and they're promoted pretty well. Still one of the best known K-Pop names for good reasons. EXO just gets more promo time

Well SNSD aren't enlisting and they make more money solo, so it's not like they're gonna be treated the same as SHINee, who are having one last OT5 comeback before they go solo - what SNSD are doing this year.

SNSD are definitely not on the backburner.
Even if they're not together for a year, they're still front and centre.
