Nnn I'll never forget that quote that said that PRISM was planned to last two years.
Two Christmases, it was... which given the era launched in August means 1 yr 4 mn, a standard duration for a successful era really. And well, they did that. She was still touring in October 2015.
Is "Black Widow" & Get on your knees apart of the Dark Horse sessions?
Nothing is confirmed but very likely yes. Black Widow was definitely written in PRISM sessions because it was just a rough chorus idea on a backing track which Katy gave to Iggy because she thought she'd like it. Get On Your Knees may have been written afterwards but knowing Katy I really doubt it. They were probably just rough ideas which eventually manifested into "Dark Horse", and the earlier versions were sold on.

The era was pretty much dead by Aug 2014, which was sad to see given the potential hits on the album that got paid dust. I don't really count the tour. A rerelease could've pushed it to 5MWW.
As much as I like Birthday and TIHWD (somewhat), they should have been those last, "we're-kinda-stretching-it-by-making-it-a-single" singles, kinda like LFN and TOTGA. Walking on Air and Legendary Lovers (and International Smile) were such obvious choices
Oh wait true. BW was the outtake from PRISM (technically it's not a reject since it was just not completed on time). GOYK was the one she worked on after PRISM was released and we all thought there was a re-release in the works.
She believes TIHWD and International Smile are better than the PRISM outtakes.
Since there's praise in here on Passenger, what do Katy fans/stans think of the Army and Britney? Were you pleased she and Britney worked together and had Myah Marie record Passenger
Remember Dressin' Up was planned to be the lead single for the TD re-release... I swear there was proof on some producer's website in Dec 2010... it's interesting how things change. I often play with the "what might've been..." hahaha
I wish she had thrown out one more single from PRISM...
