Drunk In Love deserved to be a single. DiL, Partition, and Mine were the only songs that stood out to me on December 13 and I think they're the only songs that have a chance at being successful. Radio doesn't play songs that take awhile to grow on you... if the song isn't memorable the song will die. Drunk In Love was weird, kinda gross, yet euphoric at the same time. It stands out. The second I realized what Beyonce was singing about ("how the hell did this **** happen OH BAB-EY" and "grinding on that wood") I was hooked.
Also LOL at lambs blaming ageism for Mariah's flopping. Her only chance at a hit right now is pop music. She'll also needs a genuinely sexy video. Again, most of the younger GP only knows her post-2005 music and for some her post-2008 music. The boring R&B songs aren't going to cut it. #Beautiful was the best she could achieve in that genre. Unless she loses weight and puts out a cute bop, the GP won't be here for it
