And according to ARIA's release, 'Born This Way' has recorded the highest number of sales for a No.1 single since Anthony Callea's 'The Prayer' back in 2004 and is the highest selling single by a non-Australian since Elton John's 'Something About The Way You Look Tonight/Candle In The Wind' following the death of Princess Diana back in 1997. Presumably they're talking highest first-week sales.
