I agree but my point is that there are black rappers that share a similar style that aren't as nearly successful. I'm not knocking it, but his race is a factor into his success.

I think at some point the network as a whole took a turn and made its focus on ratings rather than quality material to uplift and promote black culture. Stanning aside, I still don't understand the logic behind the Blue Ivy joke.

In their prime, the network was golden.

That because they don't know how to be mainstream. Cassidy is one of greatest MC we ever had but he didn't know how to be mainstream and that the reason why he fell off. Battle rappers can't be mainstream because it hard for them.
