You can clearly tell that she was extremely disappointed even during the performance, so giving up on her completely for "being lazy" or "a joke" or whatever is a bit of a overreaction. She might not have an Emancipation-era again, but she will serve next album, I just know it. Especially after this.

I've never actually looked into her discography, but the songs she performed today had me very interested.

I heard Emotions and WBT. Emotions was impressive, but I honestly am hooked to WBT Such a sweet and hypnotising song

Since idk much about Mariah's music at all, I thought I'd ask in her base: Could you recommend songs like this in her discog? With the same vibe ish? Cause I love it!

The words "sweet" and "hypnotizing" instantly brought the Butterfly album to mind. It's widely considered her magnum opus too, so give it a chance. And then the Daydream album

If you're only interested in individual songs for now, I'd personally suggest Fantasy, My All, The Roof, Can't Let Go, Dreamlover, Always Be My Baby, Honey and Melt Away. I think they fit your description and they're all fan favorites to a certain extent so you can't go wrong. But honestly, she has one of the best discogs of any current artist, so there's more. While discovering her, I just played all her singles in chronological order and I was a fan the next day

I agree with you that this is not an act management is at fault for. The only thing management and her PR team can do right now is manage the spin and decide how best to address this issue. In the next few days we'd be able to offer better praise/criticism of how they handled it. It seems as though they are taking the "go down fighting" route, which I bet is due to Mariah being pissed. We'll see but I can already see how this will be messy. If they are going to claim sabotage, to prevent this from being a he said/she said scenario, they need to show a smoking gun because people will only see it as making excuses.

I just think people are conflating too many issues with this though. As I said before, we know she has a lot to work on, but to somehow say this is something that needed to happen in order for her to get a message is too much of a stretch. This was something really unprecedented and I really havent seen anything like this since I started following entertainment. She has a lot to work on, for sure. But this is an entirely separate issue.
