Swift currently boasts approximately half of the iTunes top singles, due to the fact the online retailer's “Complete My Album” function was down for the first 15 hours that the album was available, which might account for the large number of track sales as consumers may have opted to buy the songs a la carte.
People can use the "Complete My Album" feature now so when they do that the singles are like "refunded" I guess you would say. That sale doesn't count anymore.
