To be permabanned, you must accumulate 20 points which is pretty hard to achieve unless you're a major bitch. When you're back from Ban Land, most of your points expire and your chance to get permabanned get even slimmer. I don't think you'll ever get permabanned because you're always banned. Most of us wouldn't be here otherwise.

A user named Rem did. He hacked one of his "friends" accounts, got banned, allowed him back with 10 perma points and he got up to 20.
If you get trolling points 5 times, you'll be at 10. You come back in 1 month but those 10 points are still there for another month. If you're still being a mess, then you'll reach 20 and BOOM - you're gone.
All I can think of is getting 3 file sharing warnings for 12 points in a relatively quick time span - those last 4 months - and another upon release from banland, followed by an explicit warning upon your next return. Of course there are other combinations, but that's the most basic. However, it's also the most likely to get you in trouble if those file sharings are your own doing rather than just requests.

No. That wouldn't make sense. You'll always get banned for a month unless you've been trolling extremely hardcore or you do some **** like post another person's picture, make a duplicate, etc.
