Okay so Evil Dead was just okay.

Evil Dead was absolutely amazing. I've never been that scared about a movie in my entire life.

Just got in from Evil Dead. I think they did a great job of paying homage to the classic film.
Brought back a lot of memories.

I just watched Pyscho for the first time. It was so good, in my top 5 favorite Hitchcock movies for sure.

Just got back from Evil Dead. It was a lot of fun. Definitely very gory. Overall a really good time.

Pretty shocked to say that people thought it was scary though? Obviously people find different things scary but was this even intended to be scary? I don't know. I find movies like these to be just about the fun thrill ride and not actually about scaring people.

Anyway, I thought it was enjoyable. Nothing great or particularly scary, but it wasn't a waste of time either. Pretty entertaining!

I thought it was scary just because of the thing that they'd do to themselves. Absolutely brutal

Oh yeah, definitely! I know what you're saying. Brutal is the best way to put it! When I hear "scary," I automatically think of being too afraid to sleep or always looking over my shoulder and BOLTING up the stairs haha. But when you think about the stuff that these characters did...it's definitely a scary concept!

True! Maybe scary isn't the correct word... More like traumatizing? The movie was definitely intense, but I'm not losing sleep.

Sorry this took a little while to respond to! I'm sure you'll be able to understand everything that is happening because the two have very little in common, as far as any continuing storyline goes. The only thing you may be confused about is who the main character is, as you are introduced to him in the first movie. But truthfully, as long as you know that he encountered "the collector" in the first one, that's all you'll really need.
