madonna's problem is she was always TOO current. almost all of her music outside of a few albums have aged like fcking milk. no one wants to listen to her dated **** anymore 'cept pop stans like me
I heard One Sweet Day on the radio last week, haven't heard Gaga for 5 years so it's definitely more remembered than Gaga but yes, it's not very remembered especially for a song that has the record of most weeks at #1

"I Will Always Love You" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" were definitely bigger songs than all of Madonna's before Whitney's death.
