GGGB and Loud are her only eras that had longevity and sold well. RR under-performed for obvious reasons. There's not much of a purpose of her making albums back-to-back since I'm sure they put more money into it than they actually get out of the sales of it.

Taking time and having smash material in one album is much better than having one or two hits on multiple albums

At this point, Rihanna would do so much more damage if she hyped up her eras and promoted the **** out of them like these other girls do. She literally announces a single 1 or 2 weeks in advance, has 1 or 2 promo spots in the U.S. during album release week and then moves on. The queen, her effortless domination.

RR was handled pretty decently. It just under-performed. I don't think the problem is her album material. She just isn't promoted properly and things just always seemed rushed.
