This album is certainly not better than The Perfectionist, but it's still a great album. One of the qualities I loved most about Kills was her dark edginess, and it seems a bit washed out on this album...

I still live for "Controversy", "Rabbit Hole", and "Outta Time". Using "Feel Myself" too.

This album is every bit as dark, if not darker. Almost every song is about deep ****, there's nowhere near as many Frees or Mirrorses or Superficials which are about a much lighter subject matter lyrically. The main difference is a shift from a more electronic/dance sound to a guitar driven rock sound.

Which I am here for, as most of the music I listen to is rock.

I kind of agree. I feel like musically I might prefer it to Outta time, but thanks to OT's nice lyrics I'll probably listen to that more than WY.

For her style of singing it translates best on the electronic sound... and I said the darkness is still there... just a bit washed out by your rock guitar sound. It sounds a bit cheesier here.

Well everyone's entitled to their opinion but I do think that she sounds better vocally on this album than on Perfectionist.
You can hear WAY more emotion in this album imo.
