He kept trying to use solarbeam (in Gold or Crystal version). He kept charging up, and I kept using Fly (evading). His solarbeam kept missing and my weak attack kept hitting. I don't know how many times this cycle continued but in the end it worked. HootHoot grew like 10 levels afterwards. |
There's another way to beat a lvl 100 pokemon with a lvl 1 one( especially with "sturdy" ability [ then you're gonna hold a shell bell] or you can use focus sash instead), use Endeavor first, the attack hits you, you and the other pokemon now have 1 hp, then, quick attack or any move with priority. Your enemy dies, shell bell recovers your HP, you continue to slay that team
