The overrating in here. This is NOT her best album, half of it is really good, half of it is just bad. It also sounds musically not original either. B & 4 were definitely her peak musically.
Top 5 tho in no order: Love Drought, Don't Hurt Yourself, Freedom, All Night, Sorry
Is it just me or is Formation so out of place on this album? I wish she had scrapped it. It's the Pretty Hurts of Lemonade, just not as bad.
well its the last song on the album. so its not bothersome. if it was in the middle it would be an issue. i agree formation should have been a bonus track.
Loved the film and everything she was trying to say. I liked most of the music too, very well written and eclectic. I'm mad that I don't have Tidal to stream it though but I'll still be getting the music... Some way lol.
am i the only one who wishes there was a version of the album that included the spoken word interludes from the LEMONADE HBO Event? they were so poetic and beautiful and helped create bridges between the songs
