"Only Girl" is VERY stable which is a good thing. When the video drops (in a week), it should jump from #4 to #1 on iTunes (hopefully), with promotion stabilizing it, giving it enough time to hit #1 on The Hot 100 with building airplay.

Either way I'm not sure if #1 is possible for Only Girl seen as Like A G6 will always be one step ahead and pretty soon there'll be the new BEP single and maybe new ones from Gaga & Bey. This is all on top of the airplay slowing down.
Anyways, yeah "Only Girl" won't see a bump due to the video. Sales will rise, but like you said FM & BEP will be controlling the top spots til Ke$ha's new party hit comes.

I don't get the appeal of Like a G6 it's just OK to me. I'd dance to it if I was out but I don't think it's #1 worthy. There are generic songs which still have an edge to make them more than average. This isn't one of them, in my opinion.

No she said it's coming out in a week. Gaga and Bey aren't scheduled to release ANYTHING within the time frame I had in mind. Besides, Only Girl would be light years ahead in airplay. And no airplay is not slowing down.

I would not hang my hopes on the OG video in light of who is directing it and Rihanna saying she went straight from Katy Perry's party to the video shoot. I'm sure there will be beautiful shots but, don't be surprised if this turns out like the Rehab video.
You americans have a strange taste... How come like a G6 is #1? I dont think this will ever have success in any other market in the world.... Its just not good enough for me..
