It kinda reminds me of all those people who were calling her a Norah Jones/Alanis Morissette . She'll probably have out sold both their follow-up's to their huge albums combined, in 2 months
only just recently dis i REALLY grasp how huge the 21 era was. of course, that was more of slowburner, but with weekly sales a' la 1997.
and now 25 comes, obviously not with the same longevity, but with initial sales so ****ing mindboggling i don't think we'll really grasp it until it dies down...
and we still have to see how well the following singles will do..
25 won't have the same type of longevity had simply because 21 started off slower than 25. It wasn't a slowburner in the true sense since it opened with very impressive numbers, but 25 basically just opened with over 3 million units, so it's bound to burn out faster than 21 did. However, that doesn't mean that it won't come close to 21 sales (in the US) or surpass them. 21's wig is kinda safe worldwide, I think.

Yeah, '25' is gonna slow down eventually. She might do another 1M week when she sweeps the Grammys again in 2017, but that's it.
These numbers are Mind-blowing!...now I can just imagine with her Concert airing a week from Monday on NBC, her Sales could end up being a lot higher maybe above 8M+ in the US alone by the end of the yr.!!!!!
