My personal opinion is that WD should be the final single if she truly wants to release Q4 2016. We need a good 7-8 month break from her before a new era.

I think the fact that she (surprised) performed this year at the VMAs means that she won't perform next year. Meaning no new single by VMAs time next year. 2017 it is for TS6.

It's a shame AYHTDWS is so overlooked by everyone. It would ideally make an excellent single choice, but due to its overall lackluster performance compared to the other tracks (in pre-release sales, streams, overall hype, etc), it seems like it would kind of dud.

november for final single video premiere makes perfect sense for a q4 album release.

esp cuz the videos have been released this era in aug/nov/feb/may/aug.

For February's Grammys, She can perform a masterpiece non-single like Clean a la All Too Well to wrap the era.
And given how She's still performed no 1989 songs on US TV this year (aside from one chorus this Sunday), it wouldn't be overkill or overexposure.

Good point, however take into account those were 2nd singles, this would be a 6th single. But her hype this era is like no other, so we'll see. Again, I'd love AYHTDWS, but I don't think it's happening.

although she isn't performing on television a lot...her concert seems to be making up for it (headlines for the guest singers)

a year gap would be perfect for her...and it's not like she isn't gonna have a big night at the Grammys where she could easily just do an acoustic of a throwaway track just for the heck of it
