Sorry Drogo!! But I don't think we're gonna have any more returns for a while now...
At least 3DD was replaced by Finger Eleven's "One Thing," which I find to be a very good song!!
Anyway, here's what to expect for next week:
* A not-so-new #1 video (enough already!).
* A debut from a Canadian rock band (yes, this is the third week in a row we have a Canadian debut).
* Another debut from the Californian band formerly known as Kara's Flowers, with a video featuring actress Kelly Preston.
* One of this week's debuts going up 3 spots while the other falls off.
* And a rock band falling off the countdown from the second week in a row.
Good debut by Maroon 5. I don't recall being too impressed with Nickelback's song back when it was on the Top 20. Also, I like "The Reason," but enough already!
Anyway, here's what to expect for next week:
* THREE countdown debuts, including:
>> One by a rock band that is basically Creed minus Scott Stapp.
>> Another by a male singer who doesn't "want to be anything other than what [he's] been trying to be lately."
>> And the third one by an English band, with a video that spent an astounding 28 weeks on the countdown and yet it only peaked at #8.
* An impressive +10 jump by one of our debuts this week.
* And the departure of three videos in the lower half of the countdown.
^ You were on fire with the fall-offs, but not so much with the debuts. The first debut is by a band that is Creed minus Scott Stapp, so it can't be Creed (since there's no Scott Stapp). For the second debut, those are actual lyrics from the song.
^ Exactly what you wrote. Since I'll be a bit busy writing a paper tonight, I'm putting this up a bit earlier than usual:
Here's what to expect for next week:
* A brand-new #1 video.
* A countdown debut by a rap group from NYC, recounting their being kidnapped by Sasquatch (and thus making this their second video in the countdown).
* And we say goodbye to a pop princess (guess she deserves some rest from the paps now...).
And this week's debuts:
Gavin DeGraw, "I Don't Want to Be"
Keane, "Somewhere Only We Know" (this was the version they showed on VH1, right?)
