What sound is BITE exactly? I know it's an older style sound from like god-know-when but who sang/performed like that in the past? Does anyone wants to dust off old dusty receipts for me

My copy arrives tomorrow (FINALLY) and I found out about an hour ago that my digital copy was on my computer but it was sitting in the music section instead of downloads
I didn't even know who he is until ten minutes ago, but this EP is really, really good. It's mature, intelligent, very well-produced, tastefully created, and catchy. That is rare.
Plus Hedi Slimane likes him and he walked in an SL show, so slay.
