You'd think a songwriter like Katy would be able to interpret a song as easily put as Bad Blood. It's about being betrayed by someone, written with no call outs, no specificity, and its just a general message about being betrayed. She doesn't trash talk the person in the song, she just talks about what they've done. It could be interpreted as being about a boy because there's no specificity in the lyrics.

I love how writing about being betrayed is suddenly equal to capitalizing on pitting women against each other.
