I'm legit mad @ this not smashing (yet). It's one of the most uplifting songs of the year, and I'm fuming that other "uplifting" songs smashed this year (i.e. "Fight Song").
Who knows maybe it will be a sleeper hit. It's getting less spins now on HAC but bigger audience updates the last few days than it had been getting before, and the Pop Add date has been pushed back to October, so who knows what DefJam's plan is.
I heard Fire Under My Feet at the gym tonight and bopped so hard. I love you queen Leona.. but I'm concerned that nothing is charting. Is the era over before it began?
Also just noticed that "Thunder" is being sent to Dance radio tomorrow as via All Access. The Danny Verde remix is the second most downloaded song and 5th most streamed under the cool new music dance section of all access.
