I doubt '3' is going to go top 5 in the UK, especially 'cause its not a British cup of tea & she has lost almost half of her public lovers during the Circus era.

I wouldn't say that. Circus has sold more copies than Blackout and Womanizer was her most successful single, sales wise, in a long, long time [outsold Toxic, Everytime..].
Her 3 other singles just weren't released in good times, not to mention that Jive screwed up the sync that should've been between the digital and physical release. So, saying that she's lost almost half of her public lovers during the Circus era is very incorrect. You can't reallt know how 3's going to do there. So far it was welcomed quite pleasantly by British radio.

She did lose A LOT of people there, she has to regain them---'3' just won't cut it.

She didn't lose "half" of her fans in Britain. If anything, she gained some back, considering the album sales. Ever since digital sales were included on the chart, singles these days aren't the best indicative of the amount of fans. Especially when they aren't the 1st ones. :-/ Jive has to adjust to this new era over there, and I don't think they quite got the timing yet.

Anywayz, Top 10 will be more than good enough for '3' in the UK. And it will do good in the rest of Europe on her name alone, so, nothing to worry about.
