Convincingly bowing at 4th place is Cassadee Pope’s 2nd and last single from ‘Frame By Frame’, “I Wish I Could Break Heart”. I was really happy when she announced this as a single since this showcased her amazing vocals more. Furthermore, the way she sings the song with full conviction impressed me a lot. She looked flawless in the music video as well. I can’t wait for her next album!
Landing in 3rd place is 5-week ruler, “Wild Heart” by The Vamps. These youthful foursome of Brad, Tristan, Connor and James own my top 3 entries this year beating their ‘brothers’, Lawson who scored the top 2 hits last year. This track used the formula of repetitive pop music rhythm, which appealed the most to their younger fans. Moreover, I would also like to recommend their version of this song with Pixie Lott since it was really good!

Bowing at the runner-up position this year is The Vamps’ most radio-friendly single yet, I’m talking about “Last Night”. Wayne Hector who also happens to be the mastermind behind hits like “Best Song Ever” and “Starships” wrote this track that ruled my mid-year chart. This infectious pop song was an instant favorite when I listened to their album.

After ruling my countdown for 6 weeks, there’s no surprise that this song will be my #1 of 2014! When they released their debut album, this was immediately on top my head concerning what their next single should be. Even though I’m only one of the few people who appreciated the revamped version with Demi Lovato, I’m happy that this collaboration somehow made them a household name in my country!
