Good looks + avg vocals + Timbaland doesn't necessarily = a smash album.
I'm really getting sick of Timbaland. At least my girl J didn't work with him...

Your rite about that (but its not 100% certain if she's working with Timbo, its still up in the air).
But she's working with JR Rotem, Sean Garrett, & others and I'm hearing from several sources that she won't dissapoint with this album.
She's going for a more mature Pop/Dance/R&B sound so I don't think the quality of the music is gonna be a problem.
The sales is what I'm concerned about.
Her first album went gold & sold over 560,000 copies in the U.S. so I'm anxious to see how this one will fair.

This album HAS to go platinum, it has to sell on "Metamorphosis" or even "Dignity" standards worldwide (just using HR examples, NOT braggin on Hils sales). We NEED 1,000,000 copies worldwide at the least. Or Hollywood Records is going to lose faith in future projects with Vanessa. It's how they work. With them investing this much cash in the project, and the promotion they have scheduled, they're gonna want to see BIG results.

Well 'Metamorphosis' sales are out of the question since albums just don't sell like that anymore unless your Alicia Keys .. lol
But yes this album MUST sell atleast 1,000,000 WW.
Hollywood Records is planning on promoting her in the UK, Japan, + other European countries with this album so hopefully that will result in sales.
I'm really hoping she can get 1,000,000 in the U.S. alone though.
It just all comes down to how her label promotes her cause at this point all her label seems to care about is Miley ****IN Cyrus

I'll actually be dissapointed if I dont see high sales worldwide. If this album is as good as people are saying it's going to be, im going to want (scratch that) im going to DEMAND that I see high sales. Im hoping this record can be a breakthrough, US sales dont count anymore, it's all about Worldwide recognition.

I'll be dissapointed too.
Her album didn't do that well WW due to lack of promotion but there were still ppl outside the U.S. that purchased it so hopefully with WW promo more people will buy her albums.
But I think U.S. sales are just as important as WW sales. This upcoming album is really gonna make or break V's music career.

Who knows.
I really hope she's still singing ten years from now.
She'll only be 29 then.

Thanks for that.
However 'V' also charted in Brazil #10, Uraguay #1, Japan #19, Italy #27, and I think she debuted in the UK but @ a very low position.
"Say OK" also charted in other countires including Brazil.
