You should read E&P. I prefer it way over Fangirl. I do agree Fangirl being too fluffy, but still a great read. E&P is very different.

I finally read E&P loved it. It was way better than Fangirl imo.

I read Pride and Prejudice a few days ago and loved it. My favourite 19th century novel I've read this far. I'm gonna read Sense and Sensibility soon.

This summer I read Travels with Charley in Search of America by Steinbeck (was good but I have mixed feelings about it) and The Picture of Dorian Grey by Wilde and omg it's so ****ed up. Wilde is such a gay writer I love him

A while ago my teacher loaned me a book to read that was amazing, but I was really busy with schoolwork so I never got a chance to finish it before I had to give it back.

I don't remember much about the book except that it was EXTREMELY long, the cover was yellow, the title was also ridiculously long and it was about an elephant-like creature that went on some kind of journey

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

Rowell's cute if overrated. Austen's awful.
Wilde's greatest work is definitely The Importance of Being Earnest. Hilarious.

Looking at the biggest books of the year on Publishers Weekly:
Girl on the Train 910k copies - Bad, and Gone Girl destroys it in quality despite the comparisons.
Grey 867k copies, sure to pass Girl on the Train soon. And the just released Go Set a Watchman should pass them both. - I read the original series; that was awful enough.
American Sniper - 797k copies - Eh, don't feel like reading it.
All the Light We Cannot See 591k copies - Overrated. Pretty standard wartime book.
Paper Towns 557k copies - It's decent I guess.
Unbroken 279k copies - It's okay I guess.
Memory Man 212k copies - Um, I read a book by the author before. It was okay.
The Martian 200k copies - So boring.

According to Harpercollins, Watchman had their biggest week ever with 1.1 mil copies sold domestically.
At Barnes and Noble, it set the record for most adult fiction copies sold in a day.
On Amazon, it was the most pre-ordered book since King Harry Potter's finale.

You should read Northanger Abbey too... it's one of her earlier ones and it's not as popular as Emma or S&S but I think it's really wonderful and the gothic parody makes it stand out from the others.

The last book I read was Joyland by Stephen KING, but it was awful tbh. I expected a full mystery novel. It was a drag to read because of that, it kinda killed my wishes to read another book in a while.

I've started reading again after going way too long without.

I read Aristotle And Dante Discover The Secrets Of The Universe and I really enjoyed that, very cute. I also read Boy Meets Boy. It was okay. QUEEN Infinite Darlene and Tony though >>>, they were the best part of the book.

Currently I'm reading A Series Of Unfortunate Events, I'm about halfway through. Even though it's for kids, Daniel's writing is so fantastic and unique and the books are so entertaining, you can't help but enjoy it. It's really quite a special series.

I'm planning on reading the Millennium Series next, would anyone here recommend it?
